Hello every body, here is another a quick journal entry to thank everybody for helping me reach 9000 page views. Im back at tafe and the work load has started to pick up again. I will hopefully be posting up some of my design work as soon as I have ' put pen to paper ' as it where.

Wow....its been just under 1 year and 8 months since my last Journal entry!!

So what have I been up to? Well during the 1st six months of last year I was kinda at a stand still in my professional life, and that was because I was confused on what I wanted to do with my life. Ever since i was about 12 all that I had wanted to be was a 3d artist for film, but during 2006 while I was studying 3d I began to think that the 3d industry wasnt really where I wanted to be. Once I had finshed my advanced diploma, I had planned to do some more studies, but I had to wait till july of last year. So during those 6 months, I took a long look at myself and what I wanted to do.

I enjoy 3d modelling but as a hobby not a profession, and once I realised that I knew that I needed to figure out what I could do. And that was a very difficult thing to do, like I said I had wanted to be a modeller for such a long time. But I was lucky enough to have a very supportive family who helped me in finding a profession that I love and enjoy very much.

So come july 2007; i enrolled in a course that involves residential and commercial drafting. Its is similar to architeture, we draw up plans, consturction details, site info, site surveying, we are however limited to the size of buildings that we can work on. Anyway I am fully qualified to draw up plans for residential homes, and I am currently half way through the commercial side of my course. Come june 2009 I will have finished my course and finally be able to work in an industry that I enjoy. I have found that I am very good at drawing up construction details, and the great thing about that is that just by doing that can pay up to $120,00.00 a year. Which is great!

Another great thing is that I hadnt done any 3d work for over a year, and the desire to do more came back. The building industry is good industry for me as I can make 3d building models which is what I was good at while studying 3d. And I had the opportunity to do some 3d models for one of my assignments. Ill post some images up later.

So yeah thats where I am currently in life, I am also looking at maybe going on to study Architecture next year. But im not keen on studying anymore, but we will see what happens.

Anyway thats it for now, hopefully it wont be over a year before my next Journal....but you never know
